Welcome to the new Alliance for Community Media website!
We are thrilled to bring you this new website! We restructured and redesigned the site to be more user-friendly and interactive; we added new features, such as a blog, regular policy updates, videos of interviews and award winning community media programming and a special section for members only.
As with all websites, this one is a work in progress and in the coming months you will see additional features, resources, information and tools appear.
We ask for your help and your patience as we discover the bugs, broken links, and probably even some typos. See something that doesn’t work? Let us know. See something you like? Let us know. Practice the old adage “if you have a complaint, tell me” and “if you have a compliment, tell the world” with a slight variation “if you have a compliment, tell us also”.
Members, please register so you can access the members-only part of the site, which is coming very soon. If you are not a member, but want to more actively participate in our website, you will also need to register to be able to add comments.
Visit us often to see what is new!
An important word of thanks! This site would not have been possible without the skill, vision, hard work and dedication of Keri Stokstad, Alliance Board member and Executive Director of PortMedia, Newburyport, MA. Keri worked countless volunteer hours after work and on weekends to make this site possible! We will be forever indebted to her!
In Alliance,
Helen A. Soulé
